David J. Schwartz
This book by David J. Schwartz was written and published in the year 1959 is a self-help book (as is prominent by the name) and relies upon the timeless, ageless principle of “you are the product of what you think” and this cannot be more true!
You know how some books stand on mere promises? But this book gives you the practical method.
The question put forth in front of the reader by the author is-
Why should you think small or negative about your work, your actions and your future? Why should you feel that your work is inferior than others? Why?
And this is a really strong point of introspection one actually need to take into consideration.

Summary of Book- The Magic of Thinking Big
“Nothing – absolutely nothing – in this life gives you more satisfaction than knowing you’re on the road to success and achievement. And nothing stands as a bigger challenge than making the most of yourself.”
David Joseph Schwartz
As I said numerous times in this very review, the book is a self-help book, but more than that, the book has solutions to give to you. The book puts you into deep introspection- rather than blaming others for why you could not make it, you need to as why YOU couldn’t make it. The book has some serious personality issues to tackle and answer.
What to Take Away From The Book?
You could literally take away the whole book with you, but hang on here are 3 things to take away before you read (or not) the book.
- Talk, Interact as much as you can:- I know interaction is not easy for everyone, but trust me on this, interaction (and hopefully a polite one) is the key to happier life.
- Believe that you can:– Okay this sounds very very repeated but it is true! Believing that you can make your mind think and put it in a position where you believe that you actually can do it- AND IT HAPPENS!
- Remember, one step at a time:- This one is underrated. Now imagine and think, which one is better? Taking a huge leap, falling and breaking your leg, a few ribs and stopping there or taking one step at a time and growing steadily and consistently?
The choice is yours to make.

Final Words
The Magic Of Thinking Big By David J. Schwartz is a must read for the ones who are obsessed with self development and improvement.
I always say this-
This can be that one book which can change your life for ever.
The book is a perfect fit for budding entrepreneurs, focused, and also the ones who are struggling to find a way in life. However you can also read this book if you liked “Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill” or “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari By Robin Sharma“. These books also turned out to be pretty tough on me for they really really inspired me to come out of my comfort zone.
Do let me know if you will read this book or not or just anything you want to let me know in the comments!
